Ericsson Process with Ideal Gas

• Approximating isothermal behaviour:
  • simple compressor → line of compressors with intermediate coolers
  • similar for turbine
  • choose their parameters for isothermal process → works approximately
  • fine tuning and iteration  → reproduces given values
  • using excess heat
    • add heat exchanger from ThermoDLR
    • start with low heat transfer and slightly lower supplied heat
    • increase heat transfer gradually and iterate→ gets close to optimum
