    • "Determinism of data transfer ... cannot be ensured"
    • resolution: "uncheck parameter ’Ensure deterministic data transfer’"
  • do this for Rate Transition 2 → model works as expected
• Do we understand what we have done?
  • changing sample rate is generally non-trivial
  • Simulink documentation of Rate Transition
    • very lengthy and difficult to understand
    • warns "When this option is off, the data transfer is nondeterministic."
    • behaviour of rate transitions in models has been changed in R2016a!
  • incremental modeling, but structural change!
    • better start afresh
